Vogelsang announces new applicator booms
Vogelsang has announced a strategic partnership with Slovenian agricultural machinery manufacturer BeTEC. Effective from 1 st September, the partnership has confirmed the launch of a joint range of slurry application booms which will incorporate booms from both companies into an exciting new range. “Customers and dealers in the UK will soon benefit from an expanded Vogelsang offering, which will see features from existing Vogelsang and BeTEC products used to offer a comprehensive range of slurry application equipment,” says Vogelsang’s Andy Hayhurst. The newly established Vogelsang-BeTEC partnership will eventually see the manufacture of all the booms moved to the BeTEC Šentjur site in Slovenia. The BlackBird series of trailing shoe applicators will be available in two new options, a RedLine and GreenLine both built on the Vogelsang framework. “GreenLine, identifiable by green painted parts, is a more price-focused range that will be supplied with the BeTEC OptiCut distribution technology and standard skids. The more striking RedLine range will offer an advanced applicator selection that will feature the Vogelsang leaf springs alongside the ExaCut distribution heads and PrecisionFlow skids. There will also be the option of additional packages including DoubleFlow and NightShift,” adds Mr Hayhurst. Some existing products including the SwingUp, SwingMax and UniSpread ranges will continue production unchanged. The Umbilical range will be the UniSpread and the BackPac, which is now offered alongside the Stylo, the Hilly and the Cameleon and Cameleon Light series of machines. “A new standardised price list for the joint product range has been drawn up and is available on request. All enquiries will continue to be managed by the existing sales team here in the UK for both dealers and customers. Spare parts sales and servicing for both existing and new machines will also be handled by Vogelsang,” concludes Mr Hayhurst.
Vogelsang-BeTEC will be announcing more details in the coming days and weeks about all the new products in the range and will be exhibiting at EuroTier in Hanover in November, when many of the new booms will be on display.
