Massey Ferguson introduces FarmEngage
management platform
Massey Ferguson and AGCO’s digital solutions provider, PTx, has introduced PTx FarmEngage for farmers and contractors to manage Massey Ferguson and mixed fleets through a single, connected digital farm operations management platform. The platform will help farmers to generate, share and manage their data more efficiently and simplify mixed-fleet management to make faster, better-informed decisions. The new Massey Ferguson 7S MARK 2 will be fitted with the PTx FarmEngage platform and users of some existing models will have a retrofit option. PTx FarmENGAGE connects direct to terminals from Massey Ferguson as well as other brand machines of any age equipped with PTx Trimble GFX displays. Users managing work through John Deere Operations Centre can now run new Massey Ferguson tractors and benefit from seamless data sharing to the platform. Whatever the size and type of farm or contracting business, check machine status, monitor task progress and record every operation through a single farm management platform. Create tasks in advance in the farm office, including machine and implement, location, field information such as gateways and boundaries, working strategies as well as variable rates for targeted applications and seeding. More flexibility. Wherever tasks are created or amended, including through compatible MF or PTx terminals in the tractor cab, the information is automatically shared with other users on the same PTx FarmENGAGE system, increasing timeliness and convenience. Data is automatically collected and centralised, helping farmers spend less time compiling records and more time reviewing results for performance analysis, compliance and planning. Instead of data remaining scattered across multiple devices and systems, farmers can build a complete picture of field activity in one location. Easily import and handle multiple data sources simultaneously, including soil and yield maps to create tasks such as variable rate seeding or applications. Automatic data transfer between the farm office and machine avoids the need for machines to return to the yard to transfer data manually. Improved planning and response. Updates are possible while work is in progress when weather or other factors mean plans must be changed.
