Jefferson Tools backs winter resilience with generator and pump ranges

The colder months always bring the threat of power cuts and flooding, but the Jefferson Tools generator and water pump ranges will help keep your workshop, site or business powered up and dry when the weather turns. The company’s Olympus petrol generator line is anchored by the 7.9kVA model, which delivers up to 6.3kW from a 25-litre tank with around 10 hours’ runtime. That capacity is typically sufficient to keep essential power tools, machinery and site lighting operational through extended outages, with smaller Olympus units available for lighter backup duties. For higher-capacity, longer-duration standby, the 6.3kVA/5.0kW diesel generator adds a noise-reducing canopy, remote start and a digital SmartGen controller. An optional ATS (automatic transfer switch) unit switches to backup power the moment the mains supply fails, a configuration often specified for workshops, farms and small industrial sites where even short interruptions are costly. On the drainage side, Jefferson’s submersible pump family covers rainwater, general site water and contaminated floodwater. The 1100W submersible water pump moves up to 266L/min with a float switch for automatic operation in rainwater and general drainage scenarios. For heavier-duty construction-site use, the Industrial 450W automatic submersible pump handles up to 260L/min with IP68 protection and a dual-position outlet designed to reduce hose kinking. Where floodwater is contaminated with sewage or debris, the Industrial 1500W submersible sewage pump uses a vortex impeller and rotary cutter to handle solids at up to 500L/min. “With winter bringing an increased risk of power cuts and flooding, it’s more important than ever for tradespeople and businesses to be prepared,” s ays Darren Binns, National Sales Manager at Jefferson Tools . “Our generator and water pump ranges are designed to get customers back in control fast, whether that’s keeping tools and machinery running through an outage or clearing water quickly to minimise disruption and damage.”

Together, the ranges provide trade customers with a complete winter resilience toolkit: backup power when the grid fails and drainage capacity when water ingress occurs. Further information: www.jeffersontools.com
